Testimonials

My husband and I are so happy we selected Sweet Dreams. As first time parents, it was overwhelming to transition into parenthood. Hiring Sweet Dreams provided us a renewed sense of energy and confidence to embrace parenthood. Diane O was our selected nanny and she was absolutely wonderful. Diane was reliable, always on-time and and answered all of our questions when we were unsure of ourselves. Diane was part of our family for 8 weeks and we could not have been more satisfied with the services.

If you are lucky enough to be able to get on Diane’s schedule don’t think twice! She has been helping us since the first week we brought our little one home from the hospital. She is wonderful, honest, caring, reliable, trustworthy and so good with our baby. I am so thankful out time line matched up and we found her. Precious sleep is SO needed while Mommy is healing and everyone is adjusting.

This was such a great decision. I wish I had secured a night nurse with my first child instead of my third. Patti was extremely responsive and easy to work with. Everything was straightforward – payment, nurse availability/selection, expectations, etc. Diane (our night nurse) treated my son like her own and made me feel comfortable immediately. Very happy with the entire process and would hire again!

We worked with Patti as our sleep coach for our son Jack who was 7 months old at the time. In three nights she transformed our lives! Jack went from waking up multiple times a night and only falling asleep with rocking to sleeping through the night and putting himself to bed peacefully without a single tear. Patti has been an incredible resource ever since, providing daily sleep coaching via text when Jack was sick (a life saver) and helping us get back on track afterwards. Proud to say our little 14 month old slept like a dream on his first week long international trip – even putting himself to bed in a brand new place. Thanks to Patti we’ve been able to get Jack (and us!) the rest we need to enjoy our first year as a family. Worth every penny of investment in Patti’s coaching!

“I’ve used Sweet Dreams Infant Care twice now after delivering my 2 kids. Patti and her team of night nurses are incredible. Especially after having 2 c-sections, I can’t imagine not having someone I could really trust in my home to help me take care of my newborn. Most recently, Patti connected us with Stephanie who has been an absolute life saver! She is professional, has an extensive background with infants, and is so loving. Thank you Sweet Dreams Infant Care for all you do!

“Sweet Dreams Infant Care was amazing for both of my children, born 21 months apart. I felt cared for and supported both as a new mom with my first and as a more experienced mom with my second. The night nurses helped me establish rhythms and schedules and understood my priorities at any given time, whether helping make breastfeeding go smoothly or helping my newborns sleep for longer stretches. I trusted them fully and would recommend them to any expecting parents!”

I honestly don’t know what I will do without you and Erica!! Please let me know if you ever need a referral, I would be so happy to spread the word on how life changing you have been for me and our family!

We couldn’t be happier with the service you provide at Sweet Dreams – I recommend you to anyone I know who is expecting. The peace of mind, sound sleep for parents, and good sleep habits for the baby are absolutely invaluable. I’ll also add that I think a lot of people think that having a night nurse is too much of an expense, but I think it’s one of the best investments you can make as a new parent, even if you only have a night nurse for a week or two, it’s so worth it! Save your money on baby gadgets – (for instance, skip the diaper wipe warmer and get a less expensive stroller) and invest in a night nurse – worth every penny! Thank you again!

Diane was our primary night nanny and she was awesome! Very easy to work with and she treated and cared for our little girl like she was her own. Extremely pleased with the agency and Diane!!!

My husband and I moved to Chicago from California when our daughter was 18 months old. I was also expecting at the time. Our daughter had been sleeping in our bed since she was 10 months old, so after our son was born, our time was divided between two children. We knew we needed help. I received a recommendation to call Sweet Dreams. Little did I know that call to Pam was to be life changing for us. Margarita joined us and was a breath of fresh air for everyone. Everyone is happy when she arrives, including my daughter who cannot sleep without seeing “Maggie”. She has become part of our family and has made the growth of our family a truly joyous occasion. My husband and I decided after a couple of months, it was time to transition my daughter to her own room and her own bed. This was something I dreaded doing, after all we had tried unsuccessfully numerous times in the past. Again, I turned to Sweet Dreams. Pam was there to rescue, and she prepared me for the night and was so supportive. It was quite comical when we continuously paraded my daughter back to her room again and again. Pam was willing to stay as long as we needed to feel comfortable. Pam followed up with us the next day and gave me the pep talk I needed to get through the possible rough night. To my surprise, our daughter was excited to go to her own bed that night and slept 12 hours! Everyone is happier, healthier and well rested thanks to Pam and Margarita. It is the best decision we have made. I encourage anyone debating whether to do this or not … don’t think just do it. It is truly life changing. I am so happy to have met Pam and will never forget what she has done for us.

This image is copyrighted by Maggie Kieduk and maggie K photography¨.It is hard to put into words what these women did for me and my family. Pam and Pat signed on for a night nursing job that entailed one healthy newborn, but unconditionally rose to the occasion to care for me and my whole family. Pam and Pat joyfully joined our family on May 12 to give us the helping hands with baby #3, Conor. I always looked forward to their arrival every night! They are the most kind, caring, trustworthy, knowledgeable and dependable women I know. As some weeks went by, Pam and Pat kept informing me of some “out of the norm” things they noticed with Conor, which I had been noticing too. On June 26th I took him into a GI specialist who discovered a tumor in his kidney, which ended up to be a Stage III Wilms’ Tumor. Conor was treated with surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. The ONLY way our family got through this was because Pam and Pat were there to do anything and everything. They were there to talk, a shoulder to cry on. They cared for my other two young children when we had to be in the city very early for radiation. But, most importantly, they loved and comforted my little baby through all the side effects of radiation and chemotherapy. This has been the most emotional and exhausting year of my life, but I made it through because of Pam and Pat’s unconditional love and support. Pam and Pat’s help with all the daily home medical care that Conor needed put him on a fast track to remission. Now I am proud and thankful to say my 1 year old little boy is a cancer survivor, and we could not have done it with out Pam and Pat.

jackson holding finger We read so many books to prepare us for becoming new parents, but there are just some things that require hands on training and assistance.  Sweet Dreams Infant Care’s expertise and experience helped us transition from being nervous and awkward with our new son to feeling confident and capable. We highly recommend them and definitely will use their services again.

BRUEMMER_TWINS Pat, via Sweet Dreams, has been caring for my boy/girl twins overnight since they were 3 weeks old. They are now 3.5 months old. She is a wonderful, caring and nurturing person. Pat is organized, professional and always goes the extra mile. It is a pleasure to work with Pat and her team, and I would recommend her for her professional child care and her interpersonal skills. She has been a wonderful influence on my children.

We were lucky enough to work with Sweet Dreams Infant Care after the arrival of our twins, Charlie & Kate.  As first time parents we were overwhelmed.  Within minutes of meeting the women of Sweet Dreams, we were relieved to know that our babies would be in capable and caring hands.

We are so grateful to “Grandma Pat” for all the nurturing and support she provided us and our daughter Avra during a difficult time!  From the first night she was in our home, we felt at ease knowing that a kind, warm and conscientious person was caring for our daughter. Thanks, again!

With two small kids (4 & 2) and one on the way, I knew exactly what to tell my husband I wanted for my birthday…and Christmas. The best gift he could give me was to have a night nurse help me after the birth of our third child.  We hired Sweet Dreams Infant Care. They were an invaluable asset to me during one of the toughest periods of my life as a mom.  I will always be grateful to my husband for the best birthday/Christmas gift ever!!!

When we brought our son, Alexander home from the hospital,
after spending 6 weeks in the NICU. The team at Sweet Dreams Infant Care was a godsend. This teams qualifications alone make them an incredible choice, but with their first hand experience and genuine love for newborns make them worth their weight in gold!

Sweet Dreams was my saving grace when my son Paul was born and then 17 months later when my daughter Anna was born. Sweet Dreams Infant Care always went above and beyond for us as they taught me to bathe, nurse, and soothe my baby and care for myself.  Sweet Dreams expertise combined with their nurturing spirit was a blessing for our family.

Pam was an absolute godsend after the birth of my third child.  I met her when I had to be re-hospitalized for complications from my C-section. She stayed in the hospital with me for several nights to take care of my baby while allowing me to rest and continue breastfeeding.  After three kids, I didn’t think I had anything left to learn, but Pam proved me wrong and taught me many useful tips. I simply could not have gotten through the immediate postpartum phase without Pam’s help and guidance, and I will forever be grateful to her for her help and advice.

We wanted to send you a note to tell you that we had a most wonderful experience with Ann Marie.  She took her job with us very seriously, and went above and beyond in her thoughtfulness and caring for our babies and for me in the 3+ months that she worked with my family. She is truly missed!
